First Bank of the United States of America
Greg Stefan Studios Philadelphia has been selected to undertake the restoration of the decorative glass dome at the First Bank of the United States of America located in the Independence National Historical Park , Philadelphia. This important project not only highlights our studio's expertise and dedication to preserving historical architecture but also signifies a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to heritage conservation in Philadelphia. We look forward to showcasing our craftsmanship in restoring this iconic piece of American history.
The 1st Bank Building will be turned into a museum, with its opening set in 2026'
The 40' diameter decorative glass rotunda contains 240 sections of glazed Stained Glass and an Oculus in the center that will be restored in-situ. This is the main focus of the Greg Stefan Studios Philadelphia team until the dome project's completion.
The Quoin Hotel - The Quoin Restaurant
The Quoin is a luxury hotel and restaurant located close to the financial district of Wilmington and the historic Main Street district. The site was reconstructed and renovated from a large 4 story bank. GSS designed and fabricated hundreds of square feet of stained glass artwork through out the 1st floor of the new hotel and restaurant. The installations include curved banquet divider, large transoms and custom 37 foot antique mirror wall on the cafe side of the hotel.
Roost Hotel Rittenhouse Square Philadelphia ~ Lobby Windows
New Fabrication
1831 Chestnut St. Philadelphia, PA 19103 ROOST Rittenhouse is located in a historic turn-of-the-century building overlooking the edge of Rittenhouse Square, one of Philadelphia’s original parks that was planned by William Penn during the 17th century. ST. Anthony's Hall UPenn Campus University City ~ East Entrance Window Restoration
St. Anthony Hall House, also known as the Delta Chapter House for the Fraternity of Delta Psi, is a historic fraternity house located in the University City neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is the Historic St. Anthony's Hall for the University of Pennsylvania. Restoration and repair of the windows and interior stained glass features of this property have been ongoing since 2017. The UPenn site features over 100 stained glass window fenestration, Stained Glass Hanging Lamp, and a Stained Glass Lantern that have been historically restored by GSS.

Please Touch Museum - Rocket Room Exhibit
The Please Touch Museum is located in the Centennial District of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is the home of the stained glass earth, sun, moon phases and the planets of our solar system. The sun and moon each have have a 7 foot diameter and tower 25+ feet above the floor level. Completed in 2023 - Greg Stefan Studios Philadelphia and Please Touch Museum Exhibits Team!
Rocket Room Exhibit - Stained Glass Sun
There were many phases of completing and revitalizing the stained glass features in the Rocket Room exhibit at The Please Touch Museum. Greg Stefan Studios designed and fabricated the earth stained glass and restored the sun. Light weight aluminum architectural framing was fabricated in the studios metal/machine shop.
Hyperion Bank Corporate Headquarters
GSS preformed restoration services on 2 panels (bottom right corner) of the magnificent and massive domed ceiling of the Philadelphia Hyperion Bank site in 2022. The 4 , 24 panel skylights tower over 35ft in the air in this historic building on West Girard Ave. The site renovation and restoration has been previously awarded and honored by the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia - 2007.
Scottish Rite Theater - Collingswood Grand Ballroom
GSS had the honor of extracting, handling and installing this stunning skylight of the Manor at the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood, NJ 2023.
Private Commission - Land Title Building Philadelphia
This 7'+ Stained Glass panel was designed by GSS, fabricated and once installed in the lobby of the 15th floor of the Land Title Building 2017'.
Custom Door Stained Glass - Germantown
This embellished diamond quarry design was implemented as a statement piece to the powder room below the staircase. The Metalwork of the stained glass was darkened with patina to tie into the stained wood floors of this entryway on Lincoln Drive. Fabricated and Installed by GSS 2022'.
Kitchen Privacy Treatment - Northern Liberties
New Fabrication - Traditional textured clears, cathedral glass, and clear glass for a kitchen privacy window treatment in Northern Liberties. We used clear glass around the border to allow UV light in for the plants to grow. 2022'
Liz Walton Home - Bryn Mawr
A Blue Heron design for this bathroom window treatment in Bryn Mawr, PA. Dark oak frame hung with low profile aircraft cable - in collaboration with Liz Walton Home . 2022'
Clothier Hall - Swarthmore College
This bank/section of Clothier Hall, Stained Glass windows was repaired and restored by GSS alongside the stone work restoration of this historic cathedral at Swarthmore College. Part of an ongoing restoration of the many architectural elements of the site. 2021-.
Restoration - Rittenhouse
This stunning door set has been restored, beautiful hand painted, plated medallions surrounded by a pastel European glass diamond quarry.
New Doorway Fabrication - Northwood, Philadelphia, PA
The upper section(transom) of this doorway was historically restored and the door and sidelites were new fabrications with glass matches and emulation of the existing design. The door and surrounding area was restored and installed with modern electronic bronze finish hardware. 2021
Restoration - Queen Village, Philadelphia
Restored and sealed into an insulated glass unit and installed into this 2nd floor bathroom. 7'6" tall and 3' wide. 2022
Sky Light - South Philadelphia
This Sky light was designed and fabricated by GSS to match the wood detail on the staircase below. The windows are accented with crystals that will produce prisms on the landing areas of the 4 floors below. Each panel spans 4ftx4Ft. 2020'

Restoration - Halsey House - Southampton, NY
The Halsey House is a historic house converted into a museum, in Southampton, New York. It was built circa 1683 by Thomas Halsey Jr., the son of pioneer Thomas Halsey Sr. Greg Stefan Studios restored the stained glass windows on all floors of the historic structure.
Stained Glass Restoration - Barns Arboretum
Greg Stefan Studios is honored to be a part of the stained glass restorations and exhibit builds for the Maguire Art Museum at Saint Josephs University - Barns Arboretum on the Main Line in Philadelphia. Stained Glass - Swarthmore, PA.
Free hanging window panels hung in front of operating windows with aircraft cable. This treatment used many textured glass' to allow a lot of light with maintaining privacy for the bedroom space inside. Installed 2020.
Nook Stained Glass Restoration - West Philadelphia
This little nook was restored along with 8 other stained glass windows on the first floor of this classic West Phila row home on Hazel Ave. The slides and locks were all in tact (which is rare) and received maintenance during the restoration projects of the windows.
Door Window Stained Glass Restoration Abington, PA
During the restoration process, the shield element was hand painted and fired with the family monogram before re assembly of the artwork. The stained glass panel was installed again with a tempered glass pane to the exterior of the house.
Our Lady Queen of Peace - Hainesport, NJ
This depiction of Our Lady Queen of Peace with Baby Jesus was design and fabricated for Our Lady Queen of Peace of Hainesport, NJ and is 1 of 16 panels decorating the New Parish Center. 2021-ongoing.

This installation by Greg Stefan can be found on River Rd leading to Lambertville, NJ. The artwork is fabricated in the traditional Stained Glass method with opaque glass'. The artwork is protected by tempered protective glazing in custom polymer frames.
Rittenhouse Private Residence ~ Historical Restoration
Completed in 2021 on beautiful Spruce St in Rittenhouse. The Stained Glass windows and wood sash have been historically restored and are now fully functional. 2021'
Park Side Church ~ Trenton, NJ.
The alter feature completed in 2019 by GSS, the Park Side Church sits along the historic west side of Trenton, Nj. This alter feature stands almost 15ft tall and is illuminated by 40,000 LED Lights.
Chestnut Hill Private Residence ~ Restoration
Featuring leafy streets lined with stately historic mansions and Victorian townhouses, Chestnut Hill is known as the city's garden district. Home to the Morris Arboretum and its canopy walkway, Picturesque Germantown Avenue is lined with antiques shops, art galleries, tearooms and farmers markets. Restoration was completed 2020'.
