6 Week Stained Glass Courses

SG1 Foil Method Course

This class provides an opportunity for challenge, fellowship, and creativity. Students will complete one project. Finished project size is approximately 2′ x 2′. Students will be introduced to basic stained glass terminology, design, drafting, cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, and finishing. Students will design their own projects with guidance of the instructor. Class includes access to studio tools and glass pattern book collection. Estimate about $45-60 for materials plus tuition/class cost: $599 Per Person. Classes meet once a week.

Prerequisite: None.  Attending the 3.5 hour workshop is highly recommended.

 

SG2 Traditional method course

This class provides an opportunity for challenge, fellowship, and creativity. Students will complete one project. Finished project size is approximately 2′ x 2′. Students will be introduced to basic stained glass terminology, design, drafting, cutting, grinding, glazing, soldering, and finishing. Students will design their own projects with guidance of the instructor. Class includes access to studio tools and glass pattern book collection. Estimate about $45-60 for materials plus tuition/class cost: $599 Per Person. Classes meet once a week.

Prerequisite: Attending SG1 Foil Method highly recommended. 

 

SG3 Restoration Course

This class provides an opportunity for challenge, fellowship, and creativity. Students will be introduced to the steps and methods of the historical restoration process and repair techniques. Each student will provide and restore their own stained glass window. Details and guidelines for artwork will be provided upon registration. Estimate about $145-160 for materials plus tuition/class cost: $599 Per Person. Classes meet once a week for 6 weeks.

Prerequisite: SG2 Traditional Method, Similar Traditional Glazing experience.

Next Class:

We are accepting class deposits for the next upcoming Restoration session:
Only 6 spots. When all 6 spots are filled, class roster will be surveyed.
Class deposit will be deducted from class tuition. You can be refunded anytime if you do not take the course.
The remaining balance of tuition will be due on the first day of class. We will reach out to you via email and discuss the materials and everything you will need to be prepared for the restoration project you will complete.
